LiFE is GOODI have finally made it through my crazy summer. The kids are all back in school, Lexy is doing great at High School ball and
LiFe Is GOOD.
We had a crazy busy summer. We went all over for softball Kansas City, Chicago, Springfield and then went to Utah and South Dakota for a little family vacation. Spent time at the pool... and everything else in between. We really did have a great summer. My triathlon and huge craft show are all over and I made it through. I improved my triathlon time by 32 minutes from last year!!! I was so excited. It went great. My friends Lisa and Carolyn were there with me and we all kicked butt!! I woke Dan up and made him take my picture at 5 am before I left to go to the race. He was still laying in bed so the angle is a little funny, but I needed a good visual of my progress from last year. He was a total trooper that day and went to the festival for me and was Mr. WORDelicious. Kindof funny, but he was great at it. He also had my mom and my sister in law (Dylans wife) Melissa to help him out. The three of them kept busy!! Benny started 3rd Grade. I can not believe that he is already there. He is such a fun loving little boy. He makes everyone so happy. Gracey actually started Kindergarten this year. She is so OLD and grown up. She could be 13 years old right now. She loves to play like she is a teenager. I am so doomed!!!Lexy had a great year with her summer softball team. They won the National tournament that they were entered in, it was so great. Lex pitched that whole game and had the game winning double RBI. It was truely one to remember. We were all crying. So SWEET!!! And then there is Ally, she is so ready to go to school. She finally started pre-K to day. She loves to walk Gracey to the bus, but she looks at it like she is dying to just get on there.

I am CRAZIER!!
One of my favorite groups of all time is AEROSMITH I love them and I always have. They came to St. Louis this week and I was so bummed that I could not go. I really wanted to . Anyways, the reason why I say that is one of the songs I love by them is "CRAZY" I heard that song on the radio the other day and was thinking about how CRAZY my friggin life is right now. The problem is that I am so dang busy. I am seriously dying here. I can not believe how I am so busy and what the heck I have going on. All I know is that it is tons. I feel like I am barely hanging on. The song has nothing to do with what I have going on, but their music makes me SMILE and puts me in a HAPPY PLACE, and I was really thinking of what I can do to lighten my load!! I have been busy with a lot of things lately. 1. LEX'S SOFTBALL ( I can not figure out why this is highlighted sorry)- this is a crazy time and she is so busy. Not to mention that now is the time that we have to start getting her noticed by colleges. That is not an easy thing to do. We have sent out lots of emails, and recruiting forms. It is a lot!! We have been out of town for about 3 of the last 6 weekends and still have more to go. This next week she is headed to the BYU softball camp!! GO LEXY GO!! 2. SUMMER- Man seriously summer is a pain in the butt, I love having the kids home, but they always want to go somewhere and do something. I feel bad, but i do not always want to go, or have the time to go. Summer is just plain hard I think. 3- WORK - Man I have all my big shows coming up in 2 months exactly. I can not believe that they are so close. I have hardly anything done and am really having to get going on that. ahhhhhhh that is something I really don't want to do this year. GET IT TOGETHER MER!! 4. WORKING OUT- I am still working out all the time and really do love it. It is just hard to find the time in the summer to get it done. I hate going early in the am, but might (MIGHT) have to suck it up and go. Maybe if I get it out of the way early I can get more done in the day. It seems like I am getting further behind lately. 5- STAYING ON TOP OF THINGS- I really have to try hard to stay on top of all that i have going on. I need to keep the house clean, pay the bills, get projects done, clean my car, clean out my work space ( to get started on the mass production of #3), fix the kids playground, fix some landscaping. SERIOUSLY IT NEVER ENDS. 6. I JUST NEED TO BREATHE AND MAKE IT THROUGH THIS!! ON ANOTHER NOTE... I went to see a movie with my good pal Bec the other day and I was really struck by a quote in the little chic flick movie we saw (Ghost of Girlfriends Past) Mr. McConaugHEY said this... "PAIN BEATS REGRET EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK, AND ON SUNDAYS TWICE." I loved that. I really have been thinking about my life lately with my personal struggles, my kids, my friends, my family, my work, and really want to try to not regret things so much. Maybe that means make better choices, maybe that means just try a little harder. But I really liked that little saying. It means to me that sometimes things are really hard and maybe you should just try a little harder to get what you want, because regretting not going for something you want is so much worse. I seriously think that I know TOO MUCH about regret. I don't want to know it "so well" anymore. Hummmmmm those are deep thoughts. Maybe I should go to bed now. :)

I NeVEr UpDATe
Well, I am a horrible blogger. I seriously find it very hard to get all I need to done in the day without giving up on it, add blogging to that mix and it seems very impossible. I have been really busy lately. I have been very good at exercising and I am proud to say that I am down about 45 lbs. I am not for sure if that number might be a little higher because I just stopped weighing myself because it was so depressing. :) I have been working out with a trainer since January who I totally love and I have been running on my own. I really am starting to feel so much better about myself and really like having so much more energy. It has been a really big commitment because everyday starts with working out and by the time I get home and do the things I need to do for the family or for WORDelicious, it is time to go and get the girls from school again!!! AHHHHH. I really am happy though. Dan and I also were able to get away on our own little mini vacation this month. He took me to San Francisco when he went for a business trip. We had a great time exploring the city and doing all the touristy things. I really thought the city would be much more different than it really was, I am not sure what I expected, but it was not that. I really loved it though. I really like that Dan's work is based out there because we can go out there and visit when he needs to go on a trip for work, I just seriously can not imagine living there. It is so different than what I am use to. It is funny to me how different it was. We have a big house and a huge yard here in Mo and there I swear we would live in a town house. Man I could not imagine that. I loved seeing all the different places there though. We had dinner with Dans co workers and also our friends and it was cool to see where they live and what they do there. I was such a trooper that weekend though about 2 weeks before I sprained my ankle and also had a tiny fracture in it and I still walked all over that darn city with out whining!! Dan was way proud of me. We also went to Alcatraz which I thought was fascinating. I love things like that . I really love stories about the "mob" so I loved to see that Al Capone was there. It made me happy :) I sure loved it. It was great for us to get away and spend some time together also. Thanks babe!!! Also, it is starting to be my favorite time of year. Lex's softball season is starting back up. I think one of my favorite things to do in life is to go and sit and watch her play ball. She is such a gifted athlete. I seriously love it. They had there first tournament this weekend. Lex pitched a great game on Friday night. It is suppose to rain tomorrow so I am not sure if they will get all there games in, we will see. Also, Benny has started flag football again. He is so funny and really loves to play basketball and football. He really has improved since last year and tomorrow is his first football game of the flag season so I am also way excited for that. I love to watch the kids play ball. My mom and dad were always there at my games and I love to be able to have that with my kids also. It has been a good start to the spring so far this year. Also the kiddos and I headed down to see my brother who moved to Branson and spend a fun filled week with Uncle Nick. The kids all adore uncle Nicky and spending time with him and he really loves to spend time with all my kids. We went down there and stayed with him in his apartment and he let me have the bedroom with Ally and he slept in the front room on an air mattress with the rest of the kids. He was great. We went all over the city. Dolly Partons Dixie Stampede, ( and if you know me at all you know how much I love Dolly) we went shopping and to lunch, mini golfing and to Hollar Dollar City ( aka Silver Dollar City - but that is what the girls called it once so it will be forever known as Hollar Dollar) WE HAD A GREAT TIME!!

WoW
I am a NORMALLY an old style scrapbooker. I love to collect papers, stickers, embellishments, and ribbons. Almost anything I can use, I love to play with it on my pages.... BUT... I have seriously been giving digital scrapbooking a second look. I really am so busy I do not have the time to stay locked away in my craft room scrapbooking, so I really am thinking about being more digital. I took an online class today and actually liked it. I really made a cute page, and was not too frustrated doing it. I only had to cry to Dan like 2 times. :) I really would like to be a "HYBRID SCRAPBOOKER" I know it sounds lame, but that means I can use my computer AND put cute elements on a page to give it some dimension. So I am going to do that. {Just FYI.} No seriously, I am very proud of myself for this page (of course it is just copied from my class, but I still had to do the work)

We wish you a MeRRy ChrIStMAs
We had a great Christmas this year. We spent Christmas Eve with my family. That is really "our family night" I love when we all get together. We have so much fun. The tradition goes like this: 1. Dan cooks his great tenderloin meal. He is seriously a great cook and my brothers really look forward to that meal all year. He makes a mean filet!! 2. We play a wicked version of "Lucky Tic Tac" also known as "rob your neighbor" we have a great time playing our games. 3. We then exchange gifts from my brothers and sister and to the kids from each other (basically just not any gifts from Grandma and Grandpa.) 4. We then have dessert and everyone goes home and gets ready for Santa to come. We have a great time on our Family Christmas Eve. It is my most favorite night of the year. We then go to bed and get ready for Santa. When asked what my kids favorite presents were this year they said: lexy- her new cell phone. I totally surprised her with that. Dan- his new Iphone. Also totally a surprise. Benny - Guitar Hero World Tour (full set with drums and everything) Gracey- Well probably everything, but maybe the barbies, barbie car, and dress up clothes and LEAPSTER!Ally- Same as Gracey probably EVERYTHING! she also really loved her dollies. For sure also the LEAPSTER. Her and Grace have really not put those down. Maybe for a minute to color and then they are off playing again. CHRISTMAS MORNING We opened our presents at our house from mom and Dad and Santa and then we headed off to my mom and Dads house. We always have a great breakfast there where my mom cooks her famous scones ( my Grandma Dot always made them for us) we also have ham, potato salad (lex's favorite) and bacon and eggs. It is quite the feast. I love to go over when my mom cooks her famous holiday breakfast. I really need to be able to do that on my own and I have yet to try to do it. I am sort of a wimp with a fryer. I really hate to cook bacon so I am not sure how I would do with scone frying. ( Maybe my sweet hubby will do it for me- Mr. Cook). We then open presents from Grandma and Grandpa. This year ( like every year) they bought us all tickets to go out to Utah to ski. We love to go and stay in Heber and play in the snow. Ben and Lex love to go skiing and the girls love to hang with Grammy and go to Aunt Ritas to play barbies. I really miss living in Utah when I am out there. ( i get to go out there by myself in Feb and I am so excited to see all my old friends and cousins and go shopping.) My mom and dad gave Lex some uggs this year. I think that was also a highlight of her Christmas. She really loved them. Benny got some Kinex to play with. He loves to build things and the girls got these pimped out art sets. Yea, I say!!!!! Serves me right that my girls like to play art things so much, they would paint all day long if I would let them. Then we went to the Moores to have fun with the whole family that was in town. Joanna, Ryan, Ellie, Carter, Elizabeth, Bob, Jake, Nanitzi, and Dans Mom and Dad and Sister Hannah, it was a party. The kids love to go over there and play with Ellie when she is in town. We were almost done with the night and then the door bell rang and it was Joseph ( the other cousin from Virginia) with Sarah and Marc. It was fun to have him there. Ally loves to play with Joseph, he is a carefree crazy kid. Crazy funny to watch. It was a great night. We gave gifts, tons of stuff going on there. The girls got their leapsters from Grandma and Grandpa, tons of toys play dough, polly pockets, and fun toys. Benny got a bunch of Bakugon things (I am not sure how to spell those) some DS games and a Brunswick Zone card (he loves that place) Lexy of course got clothes and Jewelery.

SeRiOusLy
Are you seriously kidding me... Life has been so crazy lately. I have been so busy with orders, shows, kids, and junk like that and now I just got thrown a massive curve ball. I knew last week I was so sick and I kept going to the Doctor and they just kept saying that I was still getting over my strep throat. But I knew that there was something else wrong. On Friday night I went with Lex, Lacey, Melissa and Jenny to the Carrie Underwood concert and it was great. But when I woke up on Sat morning I knew that something WAS wrong and that I needed to go and see the Doctor again. I went to urgent care, and the first thing that they did when they looked in my mouth was say Holy CRAP! you have a huge abscess on your throat. They proceeded to tell me that I needed to go to the ER and have it cut open. EWWWWW I got to the ER and it was not that simple. They said that I needed to have emergency surgery and have it removed along with my tonsils and adenoids. Seriously are you kidding me??? I was so glad to be right that there was something really wrong, but OUCH~! I was so sad, of course it was the day of the girls FIRST dance recital. I was so excited to go and they were so excited to go and have me there. It brought back horrible memories because for some reason I had to miss Lexy's first dance recital also. I know that it is not a big deal, but for me it was. It was the same dance class and program that Lexy had done all those years ago. I really feel bad about that and I did not expect all those emotions to come back. Not only that but on Sunday I had a huge open house scheduled at my house with my customers and neighbors. Thank goodness for Lacey, my mom, Ellen and Jenny for helping so much with everything that we needed. I really love those gals. They have meant so much to me over the last f ew years. I love my sister so much, and I am glad that we have gotten so close. I really want to be closet to her like my Mom and Aunt Rita are so close. She was a life saver this weekend and also came to hang out with me in the hospital and bring me some much needed essentials. She brought Lex over to see me also which made me really happy to see my little girl! This is a picture of my boards that I have to finish before Christmas. I need to kick it into gear!!!
