Wow! I am on a roll. It has been a long past few months for me and I am really just now starting to get busy again. I start all my shows in the next few weeks and I am sure I will be totally busy again soon.

I thought I would update about what we have been doing besides my Triathlon drama... We have been busy hanging out with my family and just messing around with the kids and all of their activities. Lexy just finished a pretty good season of high school ball where she did quite well. The last game of the season was a district tournament game against Francis Howell and they had Lex pitch that game. She did great even though they lost 4 to 3. I was so proud of her and could not believe that they had her pitch the last game. I was so proud of her!! She has done so well this year!! We are off to Kansas City for a tournament this next weekend!! Once again, thanks to my sweet hubby for letting me go yet again!!

This last weekend I went to Chicago with my sister Lacey. We had a blast. I am so glad that we went together and spent so much money to try and help out the economy together!! That is what I told Dan - that I was just being a good citizen!! We had a great time at IKEA - getting all sorts of fun things for my scrapbook room and for the kids toyroom. We went to a movie, shopped some more, ate a great dinner at Shaw's Crab House and then slept in, shopped some more and finally came home. It was great. I love my sister and I am so glad that she is always there for me. She has all the photos of course b/c I did not remember to bring my camera. I was just on a mission to get out of the house with my wallet and stuff I needed for the weekend!!

Thanks Dan for letting me get away- even though I get away a lot it seems like!!!

Here are some adorable pictures of the kiddo's just messing around this summer. And one of the whole family after our Disney Trip in our "EARS"

Finally an UpDAtE!!!

Well I did it. I actually did the TRiAtHLoN! It was so nerve racking for me. I swear I have never cried so much about something so little in 1 week. I cried a ton! I was so fetchin' nervous! My Dad and my sister in law Melissa (Dylan's wife) did it with me. I was so glad when it was over and we really did not that bad. Of course Melissa kicked our butts but we did great on the swim and the bike ride and then we were slower on the run. My Dad and I stayed together. He was in a different heat than me so he started the swim before me and then he waited until I was done with my swim before he started the bike ride. I was sooooo glad that I had him there with me. We did really well on the bike ride also. It was a total hilly course and we finished 13 miles in 58 minutes. I was really proud of that. I only had to get off my bike and walk 3 times. Once was totally my fault because I accidentally switched my gears up and not down and totally toasted my own self and the other two times were when I could not make it up the beast of a hill that I was on. They were BIG and I was not the only one who was walking. There were other men and women walking also, so I felt ok when I had to get off and walk. My biggest concern was the last hill, because you had to climb up another hill to get to the finish of the bike and start of the run (or walk for us) I did not want to get off and walk in front of all those people. I totally made it though!! I thought about it long and hard before I got there, the main key for me was to shift my bike right and not mess up- it was stressful, but I did it right and made it all the way up the hill. :) WOO-HOO!!

The swim was good. I did really well. I was not the last one in my group which was good. I did not want to be last because mine was the last group to go and I did not need 17 kayakers and 5 fireman and whatever else they had out on the water just following me!!! That would have sucked. I seemed to be about in the back of the middle of my pack of people. I was really happy. If you look at the picture of everyone in the water you will see that we all look like crazy fish!!

I am so excited to do this again next year. I know that I can run the run part and I could have done it this year, but it was so nice to be there with my dad. I love my dad so much and I rarely get any alone time with him so it was really nice to do this with him this summer!! I was actually quite proud of myself!!
